Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga. Often referenced in class but not everyone is familiar with the tradition. Join me for a basic introduction to Ayurvedic awareness and living. You'll receive a handout, a dosha test and light lunch (Ayurvedically appropriate of course :) 

A seasonal traditional event to join your yogi friends and celebrate the start of the new season. The evening begins with active vinyasa yoga if we are outside (no rain) or yin/rest yoga if we are inside. We continue with cocktails, appetizers and an activity that supports our autumn lifestyle.  Learn about Ayurvedic food suggestions for the season. Finally we celebrate with dinner, wine, dessert and friendship.  If severe weather cancels the event, it will take place the next evening: Saturday, September 19, 5:00-8:00. TWO WEEK CANCELLATION! No refunds after 9/4/25.No to-go food or "doggie bags. You should be able to practice active vinyasa yoga. Not recommended for absolute beginners.

We will paint a close up of a magnolia flower. There are two color examples; cool and blue or pink and warm. You can create your own color palate as well. We will use acrylic paint which is water based and I will draw the image in pencil on a 12x12 canvas in advance. Dessert and beverages including wine will be served.

Glass art is fun and many of you have experienced this interesting creative activity. We will create a 6" square dish with your choice of 3 different slump shapes. The design is still TBD. I will update when the project is determined.
